Community Education & Diversity Promotion -"Curry Nights" Initiatives

Anoth Group identifies that providing educational opportunities to individuals or communities are extremely significant and
it doesn’t consider education as just another business opportunity. Anoth Group recognizes education as the first baby step
to any social empowerment.
Even though literate and educated societies often misinformed and mislead, illiterate and uneducated communities are
more vulnerable to it. Democracy in an illiterate, uninformed, or misinformed society doesn’t mean a great deal since they don’t
know who and what they are choosing for themselves.
Anoth School was started in 1962 in Veliancode village, Kerala, India, with six students. Now the school has about 2000
students. The founding father of Anoth school handed over it to State government because he had envisioned that the basic education is
key for any positive social change in the community and wanted to provide access to education for socially and economically
backward people as well.
Self empowerment starts from literacy, education, and knowledge....
